Tonight in Pittsburgh, 30 WWE superstars square off in one ring to have a chance to face the WWE World Heavyweight Champion at Wrestlemania. But, before that match begins, lets see some of my Rumble predictions!
Match 1: The Brotherhood (c) vs The New Age Outlaws
This will be an interesting match up. The NAO have came back into the WWE roster hot as ever and have the momentum. Even though I hope that the Brotherhood retains the titles, I believe the NAO will prevail and be the NEW WWE Tag Team Champions
Match 2: The Royal Rumble
The best part of this pay-per-view is this historic match. 30 men enter. One leaves as the winner and the shot for WWE World Heavyweight Title at Wrestlemania. As of this post, the odds on favorite is the unannounced entrant of Daniel Bryan at (8/15). But as much as I would love to see him win it all, unfortunately he will not. With Batista coming back, it only makes sense that he wins it all and faces the champion in April. Is this a good move by WWE? Personally in my opinion, no. Daniel Bryan would be a smarter choice in the sense of this over crowd reactions night in and night out at every arena he is in. Sure Batista was a big star back in his time in the WWE, but times have changed. With that being said the match will be fun to watch, with CM Punk being the first entrant to enter. Perfect man to do so. And also with all the surprise entrants as well!
Match 3: Brock Lesnar vs Big Show
I hate to say it, but this will be the most un-interesting match of the night, in my opinion. This features two heavyweights that will put on a stiff, hard-hitting match. But in the end, Brock will do another historic F5 on Big Show to win.
Match 4: Daniel Bryan vs Bray Wyatt
This is my match of the night, the match I will look forward to seeing. Bray Wyatt has one of the best gimmicks in the WWE in I believe in the past 10 years. The eerie promos, the spine chilling entrance, and the intimidating “followers” Luke Harper and Erick Rowan; The Wyatt Family will dominate 2014. This domination starts at the Royal Rumble with Daniel Bryan. Yes, Bryan is the hottest wrestler right now going into the Royal Rumble. Yes, Bryan is the most over with the crowd right now. Yes, everyone wants Bryan to win every match. But in order for Bray Wyatt to establish dominance in 2014, he must beat Daniel Bryan…CLEAN!
Match 5: John Cena vs Randy Orton (c)
The main event of the evening. The winner of this match will go on to Wrestlemania to headline against the Rumble winner (Batista). I have contemplated a long time on who will win this match. For me, Orton wins this. Only for the fact that since Batista is winning the match, him and Orton have a history together since they were both in Evolution. Hopefully, even though this match has been done hundreds of times, that this time around they put on a hell of a show to end the pay-per-view
